School Messenger Updates

The text of the School Messenger Update from the principal will be posted here each week:
EWSIT School Messenger Update—
Week of Nov. 16-20:
Attention all parents of Seniors: There will be a Senior Parent information session on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7 PM in the Media Center. We will be holding senior parent meetings on the third Thursday of each month. Please plan to attend these informative sessions.
Also, the week of Nov. 16th is CFNC College Application Week. Many colleges and universities waive their fees during College Application Week, so we encourage all seniors to complete their applications. Our counselor, Ms. Carlton, will be meeting with seniors to help them identify colleges of interest and completing their applications.
Finally, we are proud to recognize our students who have achieved the honor of Principals List and A/B Honor Roll for 1st quarter. SIT had 52 students earn Principals List recognition (4.0 grade point average) and 32 additional students earn A/B Honor Roll (3.0 grade point average). This represents almost 25% of our student enrollment! We will celebrate our Principals' List recipients at our Awards Assembly on Friday, Nov. 20 at 8:15 AM in the South Auditorium.
