And now the news!

The WCPSS Board of Education has approved the Choice Student Assignment Plan that will be implemented for the first time in the 2012-2013 school year. The WCPSS First Round Choice Selection Process will open Tuesday, January 17 for all WCPSS families who want a change in the 2012-2013 school assignment.  WCPSS families who wish to remain on the 2012-2013 school assignment should not participate in this process. The First Round Choice Selection Process will be open until Friday, February 24 at 5:00pm. Parents and students interested in choosing a different high school other than East Wake High School may log onto assignment.wcpss.net to discover the range of high school programs available based on home address. Additional questions regarding the choice selection process should be directed to the Student Assignment Office.

This policy in its entirety will be implemented at the start of the 2011-12 school year.

East Wake Absence Report Form click and print.  Parents should use this form to report all student absences.  Forms are also available in the each small school office and the main office.
